Cherry and prepared by North Florida Junior College, this collection of nostalgia, folklore, and facts gives a serious and sometimes humorous account of life in Madison County, as well as the historical events that helped shape it into what it is today.

Copies of William Carlton Smith's Writings - PRINTED
A collection of writings by a founding member of the Madison County Historical Society, William "Carlton" Smith. Carlton presented a radio program for many years over Madison's AM radio station, WMAF, called "Leaves from Carlton's Scrapbook". He also published articles in the local paper, spoke at local functions, and gave historical presentations before local civic groups.
